Based on our global network, we create tailor-made solutions to improve our clients logistics processes.Our Sydney branch is looking for an experienced and customer focusedContract Logistics Team Leaderto join our team based in Moorebank.ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement the warehouse and new warehouse customersCommunicate implementation details and schedules to the relevant businesses as requiredInitiation of projects or sub-project management till go-liveResource planning (space, staff, equipment), subsequent calculation and preparation of proposalsOwnership of warehouse management systems, contract logistics process standards and operational KPI reportingOversee the running of Contract Logistics activities and ensure a safe and efficient work environmentMonitor P&L for Contract Logistics sites, maximising efficiencies in operations and OPEXDevelop and improve operational and financial reporting for the business unit jointly with controlling and accounting departmentMaintain a global charge code structure for billing of warehousing services and implementation of automated warehouse billingDevelopment of small Excel tools, e.g. warehouse calculation and planning modelsWork with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and strong relationshipsPerform root cause analysis on system and working with stakeholders to improve performanceMaintain compliance with Safety ISO, HACCP (food safety program) and other relevant standards as applicableManage and audit of all warehouse related costs and activitiesRequirementsExperience in a similar role within freight forwarding and logisticsAdvanced exposure and understanding of WMSCurrent forklift licence and high reach experience essentialGreat attention to detail, a high level of written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, organisational, planning and time management skills (lead and motivate teams)Ability think strategically and build relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple tasks and deadlines to completionExperience in leading, coaching and motivating teamsPassionate, dedicated and committed with a can do attitude to providing customer service and operational excellenceWhat you can expectIn Australia, our team of experts provides its services from 6 locations.
