About the RoleAs a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all reporting and data-related requests for Sportsbook and Kindred Racing Platform. This includes optimising SQL queries, establishing version control, as well as maintaining and automating dashboard performance. You will also collaborate with global teams to enhance reporting efficiency and standardisation.What you will do:Act as the primary BI contact for Sportsbook and Racing data needsDevelop BI reports and dashboards to assist Sportsbook and Racing operations, Risk management, Trading, Commercial and Product teams on their day to day activitiesPerform ad hoc data extraction, manipulation & analysis for the purpose of insights and recommendationsMaintain the reporting framework, automate reports and dashboards wherever possible and constantly review and improve existing reports.Establish and maintain version control for queries used (Oracle and Postgres via GitLab)Maintain clear documentation on key metrics, data sources, and business logic.Contribute to self-service analytics initiatives, making data more accessible for business users.Work with global BI teams to identify and reuse existing reports where possible, minimising duplication and ensuring consistencyCollaborate across teams to resolve cross-functional technical issues efficientlyPreferred Experience and KnowledgeMinimum 3 years experience of BI or Data AnalyticsAdvanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Demonstrated experience in PowerBIFamiliarity with best practices in BI development, automation, and governance.Experience with Jira, Agile methodologies, or workflow automation tools.Ability to gain co-operation and commitment and work with remote teamsPython is advantageous but not mandatoryAdvanced user of Microsoft OfficeBenefitsWe are in a fantastic new office near Barangaroo, close to Wynyard station.Our office has a sports hub, if you want to challenge a mate to a game of table tennis or darts.Fancy a good cup of coffee?
