ABOUT THE ROLE Working with our General Manager, you will be taking this iconic venue into its new chapter, you will be a key part in implementing changes to our service style, bringing the 200-seat dining room to a new level of service not seen at the Portsea Hotel for many years. Morris Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Manager looking to grow their career, and to make their mark at one of Australia''s leading hotels. To be considered for the position you must possess the following. At least 3 years experience in a similar role Sound background in a table service environment with high-quality, high-volume food and beverage Drive and maintain high levels of service with a focus on guest experience whilst elevating the venue''s profile Problem solving and complaint resolution Ability to liaise with the Kitchen team Manage staff and drive growth of the team, this may include rostering and recruitment Implement and train staff in sequence of service and standards Ability to build, lead and motivate your team effectively A passion for food/drinks and a strong interest in industry trends Exceptional time management and organisational skills Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage large and complex teams An understanding of H&L, Ivvy and Sevenrooms a bonus Current RSA Ability to work nights, weekends and peak holiday times Full working rights required ABOUT WHERE WE WORK Portsea Hotel is Iconic and has been Melbourne''s destination seaside pub since 1876.
