Relocation would be required but with highly competitive, tax free salary package.Company Profile:Property Finder is the leading digital real estate marketplace / portal in the MENA region.A UAE-born startup, Property Finder expanded its operations to Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt over the years.The company is one of the largest technology start-ups in the region and a recent Unicorn.Position Summary:We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused VP of Consumer Platform Engineering (B2C) to lead our end-to-end consumer technology organization. This individual will be responsible for engineering leadership across all consumer-facing platforms, including web and native mobile applications, and the backend services that power them.The role spans across Search Experience, Property Listings, Consumer Engagement & Retention, New Homes Developer Experience, Mortgage Finder, and Native Apps. You will lead a high-caliber engineering team building delightful, performant, and scalable real estate experiences for millions of users.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Own the overall technology strategy and execution across all consumer-facing platformsweb, iOS, and Android.Team Management: Lead multiple engineering teams and managers across frontend, mobile, and backend disciplines. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and rapid delivery. Work closely with Product, Design, and Data leaders to ensure alignment on roadmap priorities, consumer insights, and experience outcomes.Platform Ownership: Own and evolve the technology stack supporting consumer products: Frontend: React (web)Mobile: Native iOS and AndroidScalability & Performance: Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and resilient. Champion performance improvements across the user journey. Drive continuous innovation and experimentation to enhance search, listings, personalization, and end-to-end transaction experience (including mortgage).Metrics & Delivery: Establish KPIs for engagement, retention, and feature adoption. Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of consumer features and experiences.Required Experience:12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (Director or VP level).Proven experience owning consumer-facing platforms at scale (preferably in marketplaces, e-commerce, or portals).Deep technical experience in frontend (React), native mobile (iOS/Android), and backend (Golang or similar).Experience working closely with product design and data science teams to build user-centric features.Excellent people leadership, with the ability to scale, coach, and retain high-performing teams.Strong background in system design, architecture, and performance optimization.Track record of shipping high-quality consumer products with measurable impact.Experience in Real Estate or adjacent verticals like e-commerce, travel, or fintech.Prior exposure to ML/AI-powered product features.Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing frameworks.Seniority levelExecutiveEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInternet Marketplace Platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
