28th March, 2025The Company:With 20 years within the Gold Coast market, our client is a well known Tax & Advisory firm who service an established client base of Companies, HNWI, SMSF, Sole Traders, Partnerships and Trusts.The Role:As the Senior Accountant you will be a pivotal part of the Business Services Team. With your wealth of knowledge of Australia tax legislation, you will provide complex tax and compliance advice to your client portfolio. Your core duties will include;Preparing income tax returns and financial statements for clients ranging from start-up businesses through to large multi-structure groupsAssisting in managing a portfolio of clientsAssisting with management of workflow for the team including developing and supporting junior team members and reviewing their workBusiness advisory work; financial modelling, complex tax advice, succession planning, asset sales and acquisitionsAttending to other business-related matters for clients including preparation of BAS, IAS, fringe benefits tax, tax planning, payroll assistance and any other tax or business services related mattersAdvising clients on business operations, regulatory matters, restructures and accounting system implementationDeveloping strong relationships with clientsAbout You:Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or BusinessCPA or CA qualified (ideal)Experience with taxation structures, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions & superannuationPrevious experience working within a public practiceAdvanced Xero, MYOB and Excel skillsThe Perks:Southport, Coolangatta & Brisbane locationsPartnership pathwaysCareer developmentQuarterly performance bonusPaid study support, gym membership and health and wellbeing incentivesFlexible working arrangements (1-2 days WFH)Salary up to $110,000 + SuperIf this sounds like your next role, then Stitch has got you covered.
