Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe''re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our team and support our Finance Manager in the management of our trust accounts.About the roleThis full time position will work closely with the Finance Manager to assist in the day-to-day management of the firms financial operations, with a strong focus on trust account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing experience in trust accounting looking to grow within a supportive legal environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Finance Manager in managing the trust accounts in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.Perform daily reconciliations of trust accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.Support the preparation and processing of trust transactions, including payments and receipts.Monitor and review trust balances to ensure proper allocation and compliance.Assist in preparing financial reports related to trust accounts and other accounting functions.Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager as required.Maintain and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial data.Assist with audit processes and respond to any audit queries related to trust accounts.Support other finance-related tasks as required.Key Requirements:2+ years previous experience working with trust accounts in a legal or financial services environment (essential)Basic understanding of trust accounting principles and legal compliance requirements.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).Excellent organisational and time-management skills.Ability to work effectively within a small team and communicate professionally.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive financial matters.About usAt Green Mortgage Lawyers, were not just any law firm; were a Top Tier Independent Legal Firm built on 40 years of excellence in the banking and finance sector, proudly partnering with other Top Tier clients and brands.
