As an integral part of the Strategy Implementation & Change team, the Senior Business Analyst supports the Head of Strategy Implementation & Change, the Technology Department, and Senior Business Managers in general.As a Senior Business Analyst, you will use your demonstrated knowledge and experience to support the business with their change initiatives but also the other business analysts within the team to help develop and grow their capability to deliver quality business solutions. You will be a key team member in large and complex projects taking the lead and supporting Adicas leadership team in delivering high value strategic outcomes.This opportunity will see you:Contribute and support the Business Analysis framework including documentation, tools, techniques, and processes in a way that helps embed and enhance the BA team''s capability to support the organisation.Analysing data, processes and information with ability to clearly articulate findings to the business to assist with decision making.Facilitating workshops and conducting interviews to establish an understanding of business issues, needs and expectations.Identifying, gathering, and documenting business requirements and solutions through consultation with the business, formal analysis and assessment of needs.Translating requirements into technical specifications using a language that is understood by both the Technology Department and the business.Setting out clear acceptance criteria to help develop test plans and cases to assist in the validation of developed IT solutions.Preparing material and supporting training to end users as part of the implementation process as well as post implementation support.Leading Business analysis activities on large or complex projects.Your Skills & ExperienceThis role will have a key responsibility for data specific projects. The right candidate must have experience in delivering data platform projects and having intricate knowledge of best uses for data.It will be critical for you to have:A solid understanding and experience working within general insurance, including knowledge of standards and other relevant laws and legislation that apply to the industry.A Tertiary qualification, IIBA certification (or similar) or equivalent experience in the analysis and management of business change initiatives.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (particularly written) with a pro-active approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.Proven understanding of business analysis tools and techniques to be able to elicit requirements and support the needs of the business with well thought out solutions.Ability to coach the other business analysts to be able to deliver solutions to a high standard.Who is Adica Insurance?Adica Insurance is an Australian company which is part of the global MS&AD Group, headquartered in Japan.
