Psychologist/ AMHSW (Part Time)Bendigo CBD locationFlexible work hoursBe a part of a growing & dynamic teamWho are we?Care For Your Mind is a private practice with an integrative and evidence-based approach to client care located in Bendigo, Victoria.We provide counselling and psychotherapy and psychological assessments to adults, children, young people & their families. We offer individual, couple and family counselling.We have a diverse client base with a range of presentations.Therapists tend to see 4-6 clients per day with breaks allocated in between or in larger blocks dependent on how you work best.We value quality therapeutic practice over the quantity of client hours you do, therefore there is opportunity to practice your own self-care between sessions and with other clinicians in the clinic.We highly value who the therapist is as a person and how this benefits client outcomes through values such as authenticity and integrity in the work you do.We offer a range of appointment times depending on what works for you and your schedule.What we provide:We offer highly competitive remuneration, warm and welcoming consultation and therapy rooms, full administrative support and a highly qualified clinical team. Youre looking to either start out in your career as a new graduate or youre an esteem therapist looking for a practice that is trauma-informed, progressive, vibrant and growing!You have/are:Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology and/or social workExperience in working with children, young people, families and adultsExperience in diagnostic formulation, assessment and diagnosisRelevant professional and public indemnity insuranceCurrent working with children and police checkRegistration with APHRA / ASSWHighly emotionally intelligent, compassionate and have an enthusiasm for supporting peopleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work autonomouslyAbility to provide services under MedicareA commitment to professional development and adherence to professional supervision requirements as stipulated by your registration bodyKey tasks/responsibilitiesWithin this role you will be responsible for:Administration of therapeutically informed assessments for children, young people and adults for ASD, ADHD and other mental health disordersProvision of therapy to children, young people, adults and families in a private practice settingAbility to effectively manage your caseloadPreparation of letters and reports as neededLiaison and maintenance of positive working relationships with external services and primary referrersAdvocating for clients and making ethically and clinically informed recommendationsAbility to deliver outstanding evidence-based, trauma informed and person-centered careHow to apply:Please forward your CV and cover letter to:Mikaela GrantDirector and PsychotherapistP: (03) 5441 0911E: info@careforyourmind.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
