With a strong reputation in the industry, they provide end-to-end solutions in soil, aggregate, and concrete testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.They are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager ready to take the next step into management. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and build strong relationships with key clients in the Sydney region.Why Join?Be part of a company that plays a crucial role in Australia''s infrastructure and construction sector.Lead a team in a well-established laboratory with cutting-edge equipment.Work in a dynamic and hands-on role where you can make a real impact.What Youll Be DoingClient & Business Development: Build relationships with earthworks and construction companies to drive business growth.Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of laboratory technicians, fostering a supportive and results-driven environment.Operational Excellence: Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring efficient turnaround times and high-quality results.Quality & Compliance: Ensure all testing meets NATA and ISO17025 accreditation requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance.Process Improvement: Identify ways to optimise workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance service delivery.Technical Oversight: Supervise testing procedures, reporting, and calibration of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.What Were Looking For5+ years experience in a geotechnical laboratory setting, with leadership experience preferred.NATA signatory approvals (Level 5) highly regarded.Strong understanding of AS 1289 and AS 1141 test methods for soil and aggregate testing.Experience with QA/QC processes and laboratory accreditation requirements.A hands-on leadership style with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.Current Drivers Licence, Construction White Card, and Nuclear Density Meter Operators Licence.Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.How to ApplyIf youre looking to take the next step in your career and be part of a company that values technical excellence, safety, and teamwork, wed love to hear from you!Contact Georgina at georgina.laki@acrworld.com or call 0406 807 751 to discuss this opportunity further. #J-18808-Ljbffr
