Our client, an industry leading piling contractor, provides a comprehensive range of services from foundation design, slope stabilisation, piled foundations, and general ground improvements across Australasia.They are currently searching for a qualified and experienced boilermaker/welder to join their workshop team in Blacktown, NSW!Please note this position will be initially a casual role for 4 weeks, before becoming a full-time employee.Works will include but are not limited to the following:Working with heavy machinery including excavators, piling rigs, drill/auger parts, excavator buckets and attachments, and smaller power tools.Intense amount of welding required.Fault finding and repairing malfunctioning mechanical equipment.Reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication designs.Using various welding techniques.Completing tasks unsupervised.Benefits:Immediate start available for successful candidate.High volume of hours available.Competitive remuneration package - high hourly rate, penalties, and allowances.Job stability - Casual to full-time role following completion of one month of probation as casual.Opportunity to upskill with a highly experienced team.Requirements:3+ years experience as boilermaker.Relevant trade qualification.OHS white card.Own transport.Own tools.Previous exposure to heavy plant - highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
