Job DescriptionWe have a rare opportunity available for a Vet Nurse to join our Biggera Waters team on a Part-time or Casual basis. Our Biggera Waters practice is located on the beautiful Gold Coast within a couple of hours drive to Noosa and Byron Bay.We have the largest GP team on the Gold Coast, have 6 consult rooms, 2 sterile surgeries, and two separate treatment areas. We have all the toys and are a large diagnostic and surgery heavy clinic. You will be part of a highly skilled nursing team and we aim to organise a team outing/activity offsite monthly.Your wellbeing is a top priority; we value work-life balance with a flexible working roster, access to mental health resources through Lifeworks, leave entitlements, and endless opportunities for continuing education.About Your New RoleUndertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consults & managing hospital casesMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentHandling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, and over the phoneAbout YouCertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (2+ years of clinical experience preferred)Excellent communication and customer service skillsConfidence in monitoring anaesthesiaA calm, friendly, team player attitudeExperience using RxWorks will be highly regardedSound like your next role?
