Kandoo Therapy (formerly Dani McLennan Occupational Therapy) is an occupational therapy service passionate about providing quality therapy services to infants, children and young people. The clinic is based in Traralgon and provides support to families from across the Latrobe Valley and greater Gippsland region. In addition to the clinic-based services, we work with children and their families within their home and community settings.We are currently seeking to grow our team and are looking for therapists who are passionate about helping children to reach their potential. At Kandoo Therapy, we believe in the power of possibilityhelping individuals not only say they can but believe they can! The role involves providing both clinic based intervention and intervention within community settings. We are open to applications from therapists with experience as well as new graduates. Predominately mobile roles are available for those with prior paediatric experience, particularly to those who may reside in East and West Gippsland areas.Within this role you will work collaboratively with the childs other team members, including their parents, teachers and external professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the childs care is taken. Our clients have huge variety in their needs and age, which means that you will learn and develop skills for working with lots clinical diversity. In addition to individual clinical work, you will facilitate group therapy programs and be involved in community based projects.What the Positions Offers YouBeing an occupational therapist at Kandoo Therapy offers the chance to develop a role that meets the life balance that you require.
