We seek passionate individuals who are driven to make a real difference in people''s lives.In return for your valued contribution, we offer:A family-friendly organisational culture with true work-life balanceAttractive salary packaging to maximise your take home payME Days and bonus Christmas leave - additional leave days each yearThe Support Officer provides administrative support to the Employment Facilitator in the delivery of services, as prescribed within their relevant position description and guidelines.The Local Jobs Program Support Officer will work with the Employment Facilitator to actively engage with local stakeholders to support the generation of targeted activities, ensure pathways to the workforce are developed, and/or maximise employment opportunities.Duties will include but are not limited to:Maintaining and updating the Local Jobs PlanAnalysing labour market data and informationEngaging with and managing stakeholder relationshipsAssisting proponents to develop Activities to promote local employment outcomesCollating and drafting monthly reports to the departmentOrganising and coordinating Taskforce Meetings, including booking rooms, preparing minutes, agendas, and other related papersCurating social media contentAd hoc reporting as required by the DepartmentEvent coordination and deliveryThe successful candidate will ideally possess:Demonstrable experience working within the local labour marketKnowledge of government-funded programs and how they workAbility to interpret comprehensive guidelines and policies and how they will affect the roleCapability to produce in-depth reports in a timely fashionCapacity to develop strategic relationships with relevant stakeholdersProven administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office suiteTo apply, we request a letter of application outlining the following areas relevant to the role:Local connections in the community/regions that you currently work withinExperience in local community programs, training programs or industryHigh-level administrative skills and computer literacyProactive approach to developing and enhancing local employment solutionsHigh-level communication skills written, and verbalThe Feel-Good PartsAt are-able, every dollar of profit goes back into the communities we serve.
