You will be responsible for shaping our practices technical direction, building client relationships, and positioning our firm as a market leader in GCP-based data solutions.This role offers unparalleled opportunities for career growth, as youll be at the forefront of technological advancements, contributing to solutions that have far-reaching impacts across industries.The Google Cloud Platform Data Practice Lead is responsible for:Provide overall strategic leadership for our GCP Data practice, defining technical vision and go-to-market strategiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive practice growth strategy, focusing on emerging Google Cloud data technologies and industry trendsLead presales efforts, crafting compelling technical solutions and narratives for complex enterprise data challengesDesign reference architectures and solution frameworks leveraging the Google Cloud PlatformServe as the primary technical liaison with Google, developing strategic partnership opportunities and co-innovation initiativesBuild and nurture a high-performance team of data consultants, driving skill development and practice capabilitiesRepresent the practice at industry conferences, technical forums, and Google Cloud events as a thought leaderMentor and coach senior consultants, helping them develop advanced technical and client engagement skillsAbout you:Technology Consulting at Cognizant involves exciting, fast-paced work at the cutting edge of innovation. Above all, you should have a positive attitude and relish the opportunity to work with consultants from a wide range of backgrounds on fast-paced, high-impact engagements that are reshaping industries.Base capability requirements include:10+ years of progressive technology consulting experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on Google Cloud Platform technologiesProven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise data and platform transformation initiativesDeep understanding and hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and other GCP data servicesComprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud AI/ML services, including Vertex AI, AutoML, and AI Platform, with a vision for their transformative potentialStrong background in solution architecture, with ability to design complex, scalable data platformsExceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with C-level executivesExceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional and/or global teamsProven ability to develop strategic client relationships and drive new business opportunitiesProven track record in mentoring and developing high-performing teams of data professionalsGoogle Cloud Professional Data Engineer and/or Professional Cloud Architect certification (additional GCP certifications preferred)Ideally certified in Agile delivery (eg.
