Stamford Plaza Melbourne is a five-star hotel located at the Paris end of Little Collins Street in the heart of the shopping and theatre district.We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our dining space.Permanent full-time positionRotating shifts including nights and weekendsAs the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team in accordance with standard operating procedures, training staff on performance standards, Food & Beverage menus, and product knowledge.In addition to the above, other duties of this position include:Coordinating the operations of different outlets: bar, room service, breakfast buffet, and banquetsDealing with guest complaints following correct hotel procedures.Attending shift handover briefings, reading and actioning items in the communication diary and noticeboard.Preparing fortnightly rosters.We are looking for a person with the following attributes:Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, within the hotel industry.Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (highly desirable).Strong leadership skills and experience.Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.What is on offerStamford Plaza Melbourne welcomes people who share our passion and who have a positive approach to simply exceptional service, as well as those who take ownership and pride in what they do.
