We have the option of 32-hours Part-time or 38-hours Full-time. Reporting to the Payroll and Accounts Supervisor, you will be the key person for all payroll-related matters to ensure the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll while supporting the Payroll and Accounts Supervisor with financial entries and reports. You will work closely with the finance team on ad hoc projects and tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging Payroll for 275+ employeesCheck timesheets and overtime in BuRPSSetting up and maintaining employee dataPreparing and processing payroll adjustments and terminationsReconciling leave entitlements within the payroll systemsAccounting tasks such as working on bank statements and bank reconciliationsWhat are the minimum requirements for this position?5+ years of payroll experienceTertiary accounting qualification or equivalent experienceAdvanced skills in ExcelAdvanced computer literacy including experience with MYOB, NetSuite preferable, and Microsoft OfficeComprehensive understanding of accounting principlesFinance experience in a Not-for-Profit organisation is desirableTo be successful in this role, you will have:Well-developed written and oral communicationProficiency with ExcelStrong problem-solving skillsAble to meet deadlines and work independentlyExceptional time management skillsProductive work ethicWhy should you join us?At AWLQ we offer competitive pay and benefits, including access to an independent Employee Assistance Program, retail discounts, and vet discounts.
