We provide leadingedge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and lightdirected order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPosition SummaryOperates fabricating machines to create structural steel products used in industrial automation.Operates fabrication shop and machine shop machinery and equipment, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches, to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.Reads job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.Detects workpiece defects and machine malfunctions.Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from workpiece.Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, die, or workpieces.Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifukus QMS policies and procedures.Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.Ability to read blueprints.Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.Self-motivated and detail-oriented.Team orientation.LOTO certification required.Crane operation certification required.Forklift operation experience preferred but not required.Availability to work on Saturdays as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
