Motor Mechanic - Full-timeTwo (2) Motor Mechanic (General) - Full-time positions vacant at automotive workshop Gladstone Tyres & Auto Pty Ltd trading as Tyrepower Gladstone, ABN: 88 646 303 648, at 93 Hanson Road, Gladstone, Qld-4680. Minimum 38 hours a week.Job Description:Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles.Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components, referring to service manuals as needed.Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts with the assistance of computers.Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and check parts.Check and repair suspensions, brakes, and wheel alignments of automotive vehicles.Reassemble engines and parts following repair.Manage stock reordering and inventory as directed, placing stock (for example, brakes, spark plugs, oil filters) in the proper locations.Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and machinery in good condition.Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring professional and polite communication with customers.Adhere fully to regulations relating to pollution and health and safety at all times.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment.Coordinate with other mechanics when teamwork is needed.Applicant must have:Completed at least Cert-III in automotive and 1-2 years of full-time work experience as a motor mechanic.Must hold a current driver''s license.A desire to achieve results.Annual Salary (depending on experience/skills) between $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation.Only successful candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
