They will be responsible for mapping business requirements and projects for data integrations, data storage and transformation for reporting purposes.This role supports the underlying Mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Lismore by delivering services that contribute to enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.Work Requirements:A current/valid Australian Drivers Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of the appointmentHold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain if the successful candidateRequirement to travel between locations (as required).Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in data science, statistics, computer science, information systems or a related field.Certification or training in relevant data-related domains, such as data engineering, data management, data security or data ethics.Work Experience:Substantial experience in data storage, integration and analytics ideally within the education sector.Execute a Confidentiality Agreement and maintain the highest standard of confidentiality.Key Capabilities:Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques, such as ETL, APIs, data pipelines, data quality and data governance.Experience in the use of Alteryx (or similar ETL applications) for data transformation (beneficial but not essential).Experience in the use of Tableau or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools for generating visualisations (beneficial but not essential).Ability to integrate, transform and process complex system and sector data.Ability to develop dashboards and visualisations to support the analysis of student, staff, schools and a range of other system and sector data as required.Ability to work as part of a team, and proven planning and organisational skills to meet agreed deadlines.Ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations to different audiences and stakeholders, using clear and compelling visualisations and narratives.Knowledge of data analysis methods and best practices, such as descriptive, inferential and predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning and artificial intelligence.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for data quality, privacy and compliance, such as GDPR, ISO or Australian Privacy Principles.Plus, the following generic criteria:Knowledge of WHS and equity principles in the workplace.Respect and uphold the ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of the Employer.Your cover letter must address the key capabilities listed above.Applications close: 10am, Monday 31 March 2025Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools Limited is committed to creating Child Safe SchoolsFor identified child related roles, Child Protection legislation requires preferred candidates to hold a valid NSW WWCCAn equal-opportunity employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
