We drive workplace change through education, specialist advice and enforcement.As a WorkSafe Investigator, you will have a vital role in ensuring that workplaces are:Adopting appropriate risk management strategies to reduce workplace hazards that can cause multiple and repeat fatalities and serious injuries;Consulting and involving workers in designing and implementing safe systems of work; andComplying with work health and safety laws.With investigative skills and experience in a regulatory, safety or general industry, you will be responsible for:Conducting highly complex and sensitive investigations into serious incidents, injuries and fatalities;Assessing any possible breaches of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 or equivalent relevant legislation;Conducting interviews with witnesses in accordance with legal obligations and recognised contemporary standards; andProducing quality investigative materials including compiling reports, documentary evidentiary assessments and briefs for criminal standard prosecutions.Our team members come from a wide range of professions and with no two days ever being the same, problem solving comes naturally to us.
