This facility has been in operation for over 30 years and processes large numbers of cattle, much of which is destined for export markets. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate must have the ability to:Complete effective fault finding and diagnostic activities.Undertake both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.Be flexible with your hours of work as much of the maintenance activity occurs outside of normal operating hours, including weekend work and shift work (Days/Afternoon).You Will Have:Knowledge and understanding in Allen-Bradley PLC''s, electrical automation, electric motor controls, VSDs, and relay logics.Demonstrable knowledge and application of safe working practices in your daily work.A current A-grade Electrical Licence.Maintenance experience working in a food processing and/or manufacturing environment is an advantage.Effective communication and strong computer skills (MS applications).Attention to detail and gain satisfaction from getting things done right, first time.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration, superannuation & conditions of employment.Ongoing training and development as part of the maintenance team.Staff purchasing of quality meat products.As part of our recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
