Join a passionate, dynamic, and supportive team in providing counselling and support to children, young people, and their families who have experienced family violence.The Role:Assist children and young people to recover from their experience of family violence trauma through the delivery of evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support.Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of group programs.Provide information, support, referral, and advice to clients and other service providers.Assess and monitor the ongoing needs of the children and young people who access the service in relation to safety and stability in the context of family violence.Identify, develop, provide, or purchase the services required to meet the needs of children and families.Details of Appointment:Permanent, part-time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding, hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.Youll have access to salary packaging and a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.Essential Criteria:Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.Current Working with Children Registration.Desirable Criteria:Current Drivers Licence.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment.
