Georgiou Perth, Western Australia, AustraliaSenior Sustainability AdvisorAs a result of our continuous growth, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Sustainability Advisor to join the recently awarded $1 Billion Tonkin Extension Alliance project. This crucial role is designed to foster a sustainability-aware mindset throughout our workforce and lead project teams in implementing specific sustainability requirements and processes, ensuring alignment with Alliance standards, client expectations, and legislative mandates.Reporting to our Sustainability Manager, you will be trusted to:Develop, implement, and review sustainability objectives, actions, and targets at the project level.Oversee and continuously enhance Sustainability Management Systems to meet all relevant requirements.Evaluate sustainability performance, pinpointing threats and opportunities to achieve sustainability ratings.Report on sustainability budgets, reviewing costs from tender to project completion.Strengthen internal and external sustainability communications and training programs.Mentor and guide team members and subcontractors in sustainable practices and procurement.What you are good at:Aside from being tertiary qualified and having proven experience in similar positions, you should have:Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessments, and management techniques.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, making you a natural leader and effective collaborator.Your application will be highly regarded if you have:Extensive experience with Department of Transport and Main Roads (MR) civil infrastructure projects.Accreditation in Infrastructure Sustainability and formal auditing qualifications.If you share Georgious values of care, integrity and excellence, are committed to collaboration and innovation, and are looking for your next exciting challenge, we want to hear from you!
