Located in Moorabbin, Melbourne, Virago is dedicated to quality service and excellence in logistics management.About the Role:This role is perfect for someone with retail store management experience whos ready to make an impact in a fast-paced logistics environment. As a Fulfilment Floor Manager, youll use your expertise in managing teams, optimizing workflows, and maintaining inventory accuracy to oversee daily warehouse operations and deliver outstanding client service.Youll collaborate with our Office Team and Directors to ensure smooth fulfilment processes while driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.What Youll Be Doing:Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.Lead, train, and develop a high-performing Fulfillment Team, just as youve managed retail teams in the past.Ensure inventory accuracy with regular audits, cycle counts, and best practicesjust like running a well-organized retail store.Optimize warehouse layouts and workflows for maximum efficiency, leveraging your retail floor management expertise.Enforce OHS compliance and maintain a safe and secure work environment.Collaborate with our Office Team to deliver exceptional client service and meet delivery requirements.Implement process improvements and track KPIs to identify areas for growth and efficiency.What Were Looking For:3+ years of experience in retail store management or a related leadership role.Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with strong coaching and mentoring skills.Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with inventory management practices (experience with systems like WMS or Monday.com is a plus).Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards (OHS knowledge preferred).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.A proactive attitude and passion for optimising processes and improving performance.Previous experience with a walkie-stacker or forklift is a plus.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typePart-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage #J-18808-Ljbffr
