Job Title

As a Senior Engineering Support Analyst, you will maintain and enhance the Kindred Racing Platform (KRP) and Kindred Sports Platform (KSP) by proactively improving platform reliability, automating repetitive tasks to minimize operational workload (TOIL), and collaborating with the team to refine processes and procedures. This newly created role focuses on automating daily TOIL tasks, ensuring key objectives are achieved, and addressing critical pain points to improve overall efficiency.Main Duties / ResponsibilitiesSupport existing and future platforms, ensuring stability and optimal performance.Monitor and manage the uptime of our Production Environment, proactively addressing issues.Perform day-to-day management with the Support Team.Proactively identify pain points and address them through various methods:Automation to streamline repetitive tasks and minimize operational toil.Alerting to improve issue detection and accelerate response times.Monitoring to proactively identify and address system degradation.Drive stakeholder engagement and build confidence with internal and external stakeholders.Communicate technical updates, incidents, and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.Assist in the development and implementation of support operational processes and procedures.Foster a global culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement.Key Accountabilities / MeasuresAutomation tasks Work together with the team to deliver a defined roadmap.System uptime & stability Ensure minimal production downtime through proactive monitoring and automation.Stakeholder satisfaction Maintain strong relationships through clear and timely communication.Process improvements Identify and implement efficiency improvements in support workflows.JIRA hygiene Ensure tickets are well-documented, tracked, and resolved efficiently.Preferred Experience and KnowledgeExperience in the production support space.Extensive knowledge in support principles including incident management, problem management, etc.Experience writing scripts with Playwright.Python scripting experience.Desirable knowledge in server stack and website support.Strong understanding of technical issue resolution.Extensive knowledge in issue debugging, analysis, and resolution.Working knowledge of user journey via multiple tools:Solace / KafkaElastic / Grafana / SplunkPostgres / MSSQLTesting experience is a definite advantage.BenefitsWe are in a fantastic new office near Barangaroo, close to Wynyard station.Our office has a sports hub, if you want to challenge a mate to a game of table tennis or darts.Fancy a good cup of coffee?
