We bring the neighbourhood to the children, laying the foundations for a community within the OHSC space.Why choose Jabiru?There are a lot of reasons to choose Jabiru!We offer you flexibility in your workday with split shifts get your personal jobs done while everyone else is at work!We also offer:Salary packaging options so you can maximise your take-home payThe chance to lead a team and progress your careerA supportive, inclusive and collaborative work environment with a terrific leadership teamAccess to thousands of deals on travel, fashion, tech, fitness, wellness, dining and entertainmentAccess to an employee assistance programWorking with Jabiru gives you the wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a rewarding career.About the role:As the Assistant Service Manager, this is your opportunity to support the Service Manager and shape the service while building positive relationships with the children, their families, your staff, the school leadership team, and the broader community.You will assist in leading a team of enthusiastic educators across our before and after care during the school term, and also during vacation care.Assist in building a team that will create engaging, inclusive activities that foster childrens learning, development, and wellbeing to bring out the best!Our OSHC hours:Before and after school care hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am-9.00am and 2.30pm-6.00pm These hours might change from Service to Service.Vacation care hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am-6.00pm.About you:A professional and dedicated attitude towards ensuring childrens wellbeing and safety.A passion for creating engaging and inclusive opportunities that facilitate childrens learning and development.The ability to cultivate, foster and maintain supportive and collaborative relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.The skills to collaborate and work cohesively within a team, as well as the ability to work autonomously.The capability to show initiative as a proactive leader in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.Qualifications:We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications or studying towards:Any 2-year Full time Equivalent in studying the following: Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama or music qualification.Early childcare education or studying towards or does have childcare experience in another country working with children.One year in studying toward the following qualifications: Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional therapy or Speech pathology.Completed 2-year full time studying towards: Primary, Secondary or Special Education qualification.Completed 2-year full time studying towards: Sport and recreational qualification.Completed Cert 3, Diploma in Early childhood or studying towards.Previous experience working with diverse communities is an asset.How to Apply:We cant wait to hear from you!
