You will generate sales by proactive engagement, manage and respond to incoming event enquiries, maintain and oversee event programs and packages. You will engage all parts of the business to service enquiries, create menus with costing as well as ensuring after-sales feedback.Main Role Responsibilities:Create new business strategies targeting specific venues within the portfolio for new businessManage inbound enquiries across all venues in Melbourne, as allocatedDevelop & maintain an active client base & relationships perpetuating future businessMeet budget sales targets and work toward exceeding theseDatabase managementConduct site visits with clientsAssist with event management as required & follow up post function/eventExperience, Skills & Attributes:Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and budgetsSales experience within the hospitality industry is essentialExperience using Tripleseat, SevenRooms or similar event management and reservations softwareUnderstanding of sales strategies and practicesExemplary planning and organisation skillsExceptional communication both verbal and writtenHighly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective professional relationshipsHigh level of attention to detailAbility to adapt quicklyPositive attitude and driven to succeedStudies in business, events or related discipline is advantageousWorking with LUCAS Restaurants:People are at the core of our success.
