The RoleVentia are seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain the operation and management of assets for Edinburgh Defence Precinct. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of electrical equipment and systems through planned and unplanned maintenance work under the Defence Base Services contract. This role will see you based at Edinburgh Defence Precinct in a permanent fulltime position.Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Ensuring the integrity of all electrical equipmentRange of planned maintenanceWorking unsupervised ensuring all safety obligations are metActs as a role model for a positive HSE culture in the workplace; encouraging your teamRequirementsFully qualified, holding a SA Electrical Licence - RequiredKnowledge of LV networks RequiredKnowledge of HV Networks - DesirableExtensive fault-finding knowledge - DesirableExperience with solar panels - DesirableMinimum 5 years relevant industry experienceMust be an Australian citizen capable of obtaining a Defence Security ClearanceThe CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
