You will ensure that compliance, safety, business, and regulatory requirements are met.Training is a key enabler for ongoing workforce capability development in air traffic services and presents an exciting platform for innovation and new technologies.The successful applicants will possess the following competencies, skills, and qualifications:Critical to success is being able to be at least one step ahead of a fast-paced simulation environment using PC-based equipment.Clear, coherent, and impactful communication abilities.Proven ability to work harmoniously and communicate effectively within a team framework.Seamless adaptation to changing environments and workloads.Demonstrated proficiency with prevalent IT software, notably Microsoft Office Suite, and eagerness to embrace new technologies.Proven ability to interpret, evaluate, and act upon data or information, adhering to stringent procedures and tight time frames.Competence in performing mental arithmetic accurately and expediently.Monitor and action a variety of targets and simulated agencies to build a realistic simulation environment.Desirable Skills and Experience:Experience in delivering both theoretical and hands-on training on a one-on-one or group basis.General understanding or appreciation of aircraft performance and Air Traffic procedures.Familiarity with Radio Telephony phraseology and the phonetic alphabet.Prior experience or familiarity with Air Traffic Control operations and environments.Qualifications:Must hold, maintain, or be able to attain ICAO English Language Proficiency at level 6 or its equivalent.Possession of or pursuit towards aviation qualifications, either via flying experience or tertiary studies (highly advantageous).At Airservices Australia, we embrace and thrive on diversity of thought, perspectives, and capabilities because we know the benefits of having a workforce that is representative of the community that we serve.
