The OpportunityIf you have good communication skills and a passion for food, come and join our multi-cultural team at Mt Baw Baw in a front of house role.There is never a dull moment in this team, as our FOH staff work across multiple resort food venues, including cafe, restaurant, bar, and pop-up venues that operate 7 days a week, during the day and in the evening.We''re on the hunt for dynamic individuals who can bring a touch of magic to our team! If you know how to whip up a fantastic coffee, deliver food orders with a smile, and keep things sparkling clean, we want you! Our ideal team members are those who can make every guest feel special and welcome. You''ll need to have some beverage skills up your sleeve, from mastering the perfect brew to pouring drinks. Being able to manage orders efficiently is a must, ensuring everything is accurate and delivered promptly. And of course, maintaining a clean and inviting environment is key, so you''ll be handling tasks like wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and keeping all areas tidy. If this sounds like you, we''d love to hear from you!Want to know where youll be workingnestled only 2.5 hours from the heart of Melbourne, Mt Baw Baw is Melbournes closest downhill ski, snowboard, toboggan and snow play resort....''make tracks'' this winter for a unique employment opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation, serving, presentation, and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program (FSP)Make and serve beverages, in a timely fashion including but not limited to tea and coffee, juices and soft drinksProvide high-quality customer service when taking food and beverage orders from guests and entering orders into the resort till systemClearly convey orders and communicate with the kitchen staff and other team membersWhat amazing skills and experience will score you this role?Prior experience in a front-of-house customer service role or food and beverage roleResponsible Service of Alcohol certificateVictorian Safe Food Handling certificateDemonstrated good communication skillsFlexibility to work in other departments/rolesThe successful candidate will be required to:Have full Australian working rights. International applicants are required to obtain their own visa with valid Australian work rights.Currently hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check Employee typeHave an Australian drivers licence (Victorian licence preferred)Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests.Available to work weekends and school holidays.Available from June to 30 September (or the declared snow season)Need more details?
