In return for your passion and commitment to moving Redland Coast forward, we offer great benefits and the balance you need to bring the best you.Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:Surveying Redland City to identify biosecurity and public health risks associated with designated pests, mosquito breeding, vermin harbourage, and biosecurity matters including fire ants.Safely using, transporting, storing, and disposing of pesticides and pest control products in line with legislative requirements.Providing administrative support to the team, including handling telephone enquiries and other generalist administrative duties.Proactively participating in, contributing to and providing commitment to team objectives such as continual improvement and on-the-job training for other team members.What we''re looking for:We are seeking a dedicated professional with strong knowledge of pest management, chemical handling and safety, and best practice control measures for pests such as mosquitoes, vermin, and fire ants. Experience in interpreting and applying relevant legislation is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to conduct pest surveillance, habitat modification, and biosecurity control measures.
