To ensure continuity of care and co-ordinate services for patients referred to the SSc AHSCT clinic, to avoid fragmentation of care, and to facilitate person-centered care for a centre of excellence. To triage referrals and be the point of contact for referring physicians, as well as arranging for interdisciplinary communication where needed. To contribute to clinical research activities of the Rheumatology and Haematology Departments, including, but not limited to the national AHSCT in scleroderma trial 2-ASSURE. To work with finance and the coding unit to ensure that patients are correctly coded for their DRG. To support Rheumatology services for patients with severe scleroderma and other connective tissue diseases as may be required by the Rheumatology HoD and the Director of Cellular Therapies.Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent''s:St Vincent''s is committed to employing a workforce that reflects the community we care for. Possess specialist registration in Rheumatology with the Medical Board of Australia; Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as per Staff Specialist NSW State Award; Demonstrated knowledge, skills and high standards of clinical practice in Rheumatology commensurate to experience which is appropriate to the requirements of the position. A demonstrated track record in research in scleroderma. Experience in promoting multidisciplinary research with other internal medicine units in an academic hospital environment. Experience or higher degree in scleroderma clinical and laboratory research with a particular emphasis of the role of AHSCT. Experience in teaching in both the undergraduate and post-graduate setting. Experience in publishing high-quality research (basic, translational or clinical research) commensurate with work in an academic teaching hospital environment.
