As Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will lead stakeholder engagement, external communications, and issues management in support of Cross River Rails construction activities. Your role will focus on fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project approvals, and proactively managing reputational risks. Working closely with government agencies, contractors, and internal teams, you will ensure engagement efforts align with project milestones and community expectations. Youll also provide high-level strategic advice, contribute to government reporting, and ensure external considerations shape decision-making. Current QLD Government employees who may be interested in secondment are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement tailored stakeholder engagement strategies to support project objectives.Manage the implementation of stakeholder strategies with relationship owners to ensure objectives are achieved.Lead the planning and execution of communication strategies, including public notifications, community updates, and issue resolution during construction phases.Ensure stakeholder engagement and communication activities comply with the project''s conditions of approval, relevant government regulations and governance requirements.Oversee the integration and alignment of stakeholder engagement activities with project milestones and construction timelines.Identify emerging stakeholder concerns and provide strategic advice to senior leadership to support risk mitigation and decision making.Develop and implement strategies to manage stakeholder issues proactively and minimise project disruptions.Act as the key liaison between the Delivery Authority, contractors, and government agencies, ensuring alignment of engagement activities with contractual obligations.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of engagement strategies, adjusting approaches as needed.Support government reporting, including ministerial briefings, board reports, and compliance with policy.About YouExtensive experience in developing, managing and monitoring complex stakeholder communications on major infrastructure projects.Strong ability to build, influence, and maintain relationships across internal, government, industry, contracting and community stakeholders.Strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple stakeholder engagement activities in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of government reporting requirements, regulatory frameworks, and compliance in stakeholder engagement.High-level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare briefings, reports, and engagement materials.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Why work with CRRDA?On Cross River Rail you will not only work with the best but become your best.
