DOF offers a full spectrum of top-quality offshore services to facilitate an ever-growing and demanding energy industry.The companys main operation centers and business units are located in Norway, UK, USA, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Angola, and Australia.Join us as our new Project SurveyorDOF is currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor.You will work closely with an assigned Project Manager and be a representative of the Survey & Inspection Department to ensure survey manning levels, technical solutions, equipment choices and methodologies are current, efficient and executed to the highest professional standards. The Project Surveyor often "owns" the survey side of a larger project, be that in decommissioning, diving and inspection survey activities or pure geophysical. This will start from tendering through mobilisation, offshore execution and final handover of the survey deliverable to the client. Work tasks will therefore be mixed and varied, and include development of procedures, schedule planning and organisation of survey activities together with the department manager and other leading members of the team. This role reports to the Survey & Geomatics Lead.This role will be onshore, based in Perth, Western Australia, with travel offshore on a regular basis.If you are interested and a team player who would like to work closely with people from different parts of the world, we would love for you to apply.RequirementsRelevant university degree in hydrographic surveying, geoscience or similar (experience can compensate for lack of formal education).Minimum 5-10 years'' experience from offshore survey operations.Senior Surveyor role and Party Chief experience required.Mid-level project management experience would be desirable but is not essential.Enjoy working in a collaborative, often high-tempo environment where we share our success.Digital competence and good experience in producing useful and clear content in various digital media and channels.Both written and oral communication skills in English.Highly developed communication, cooperation, and presentation skills.Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver within often tight deadlines.Ability to be proactive and independent with complex projects.Experience in using EIVA Software, LBL systems, MBES, AUV, ROV, diving and inspection survey activities.Identify yourself with our core values: Respect - Integrity - Teamwork - Excellence - And above all we are Safe.Who we areAt DOF, what we do is as important as the way we do business our operations are safe, legal and ethical, everywhere we do business.
