You will support women and their children through counselling to strengthen their relationships and begin to heal from the trauma of their experience. You will be supporting families that have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, bullying and other forms of vulnerability and disadvantage. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake initial assessments; provide high quality counselling, psychotherapy, case management, and therapeutic group work. We use a trauma informed, strengths based approach and an integrated, wrap around service model.DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:You will provide assessment and counselling to women, children and families experiencing the impacts of complex trauma including Domestic Family Violence and attachment disruption.Provide appropriate strengths based assessments and risk minimisation processes, including safety planning.Cofacilitate psychoeducation and well being groups for women and children.Our BenefitsWe support people to live their best life.
