As a pastoral care volunteer, youll be actively involved with a local Christian church.We are seeking a Pastoral Care Volunteer to visit an elderly lady living in Chatswood. Our client enjoys faith-based conversations, Christian fellowship and will benefit from having a pastoral care volunteer visit her.Youll supplement and complement the work of our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may:Support people to meet their spiritual needsSkills required for this role:High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills.Pastoral Care training, for example, Chaplaincy, Clinical Pastoral Education, or you could attend HammondCare pastoral care training - Spiritual Care Series, in preparation to becoming a pastoral care volunteer.Spiritual Care Series North Turramurra - Face to faceWhen: starts Wednesday 7th May, concludes 2nd July 2025.
