And together, as a Crew, we are revolutionizing the way the worlds leading brands leverage technology to drive the best customer experiences.The Technical Business Analyst will play an integral role and understand and convey the customer needs to the Engineering team to ensure the delivery of a solution that fits the clients needs. The Tech BA will be expected to liaise with a variety of stakeholders in translating actionable business requirements into functional and technical specifications including process mapping of functional flows. In addition to this, the role will be responsible to ensure all requirements are documented clearly and accurately to support the development lifecycle.Responsibilities:Collaborate with customers, product managers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document technical and functional business requirements that meet business outcomesConduct workshops and interviews to elicit, validate, and document clear business requirementsMap client requirements into product epics/featuresDecompose product epics/features into user stories/tickets with detailed functional and technical requirements, and clear acceptance criteriaDevelop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to define and confirm business requirementsProvide content for the Product Manager to include in external-facing product documentation describing features, business rules, and use casesCreate necessary artefacts, including capability gap analysis and process flow diagramsSupport the maintenance and update of user guides based on functional changes as projects are deliveredSupport the creation of UAT test cases with the consideration of client acceptance scenarios and conduct internal UAT of delivered featuresFacilitate the creation of traceability matrices from detailed requirements to test casesIdentify opportunities to improve internal processes and practices and propose practical solutions to be implementedConduct research and develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and new technologies in collaboration with Product Managers to ensure alignment with Product visionCross team collaboration to manage functional dependencies and ensure these are considered as part of sprint planning and during sprintsAble to get into detail in terms of technical solutions to influence the best options for functional changes that still meet business needs but also meet strict project schedulesQualifications & Experience:5+ years experience within a similar roleTertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldExperience in Digital Software for 5+ years (preferred)Experience creating detailed functional specifications for Digital software products (5 years)Experience using Figma to create or update wireframe designs as requiredExperience working in both agile and waterfall methodologiesExperience using Jira and ConfluenceKnowledge of BABOK and business process mapping methodsAbout CoatesWe are industry leaders who have won awards and set records.
