Located only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Townsville CBD, the parks great location is coupled with a great range of accommodation options, with a choice between cabins, villas, caravan or camping sites.About The RoleAs Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for kitchen cleaning duties as well as assisting line cooks by completing food preparation tasks. This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.ResponsibilitiesFood Storage and PreparationStore and sort food in the correct mannerReceive and sort supplies and deliveriesPrepare other food for cooking as directed by the chef in chargeFollow proper hygienic food handling practicesCarry out any other duties as advised from time to timeCleaning and SanitationWash and sort plates, cups, cutlery and cooking equipmentDispose of rubbish and wasteOrganise the sorting of recycling materialsKeep all work areas, cool room, storeroom and rear areas tidyClean and sanitise all areas of the kitchen, all kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlerySweep and mop all floor areas in the kitchen and corridors leading to the kitchenMaintain the kitchen equipment and plant in good conditionWorkplace Health and SafetyComply with Ingenias WHS Policy and Procedures and any reasonable instructions from any supervisor/authorised representative of the company concerning health and safety mattersAbout YouKnowledge of HACCP and an understanding of how it relates to our Food Safety ProgramFood Safety Training AccreditationSelf-motivated and pro-active team playerNext StepsIf you wish to join a successful team in a growing company, please click on the apply for this job button and submit your resume.Please note that to be considered for this role you must be able to work in Australia and be residing in Australia at the time of application.
