PainterWeir MineralsArtarmon, NSWOnsitePurpose of Role:As a Painter, you will support Weir Minerals in all paint shop activities, acting as an all-rounder with knowledge of pressurized and airless spray painting, sandblasting, and preparation for painting. Additionally, the role includes following Standard Operating Procedures, assisting with forklift driving when needed, and requires a current forklift license.Key Responsibilities:Planning and execution of all activities in accordance with company HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines.Meeting on-time delivery expectations.Adherence to HSEQ policies.Completion of training and assessment against relevant SOP for allocated work functions.Execution of Paint Shop production requirements to support departmental on-time delivery (OTD) and quality objectives.Assisting in the development of SOPs during reviews.Supporting other departments in activities related to painting.Positive communication.Completing daily forklift and other planned check sheets.Completion of supporting documentation and quality records associated with Paint Shop operations and processes.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Experience using overhead cranesForklift Driving LicenseGood oral communication skillsSound organizational, people and time management skillsA committed and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health and SafetyA strong commitment to meeting on time delivery requirementsDesirable:Dogging / Rigging CertificateFormal Lean training or qualificationExperience with ISO9000 Quality, ISO14001 Environment & ISO18001 Safety systemWeir is committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
