Bridgestone Service Centre Gympie is a family owned and operated business looking for a Tyre Technician to join our team.About the Role Tyre TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Tyre Technician to join the team.In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres such as wear and punctures through to fitting, rotating, balancing, general tyre repairs and assisting fellow team members when required.You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your team members to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.Your main day-to-day tasks would include:Repairing and maintaining customer vehiclesCarrying out tyre repairs, tyre fitting, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension related servicesIdentifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wearFitting, rotating and servicing tyresProviding advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehiclesSafely operating hoistsConducting road tests as requiredAbout youPreferably 2 or more years'' experience tyre fittingAvailable Saturdays 8am - 11amValid QLD Driver''s LicenceWheel Alignment experience advantageousTruck and Ag experience advantageousAble to work in a team environmentBe physically fitKnowledge of WHS practices in a workshop environmentWhat we offerCompetitive hourly rateCompany UniformsImmediate StartHow do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years'' experience do you have as a Tyre Technician?Do you have a current Australian driver''s licence?Do you have tyre fitting experience?Do you have experience diagnosing & repairing wheel balance issues? #J-18808-Ljbffr
