Reporting to the CEO, this full-time role will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the organisations High Performance Pathway Strategy to ensure repeatable, sustainable international success.Working collaboratively with the Senior Hub Coaches and wider coaching teams, athletes and staff, this role is integral in operationalising our strategy and delivering program success whilst fostering excellence, teamwork, collaboration and sustainability.Taking the Dive: What this role entailsOversee the Performance Pathway Strategy within budget, ensuring there is a strong pipeline of athletesDesign, deliver and support the annual competition and event plan including National Pathway Activity programsDevelop and implement selection policies that align with our vision and purposeOversee the Coach Development Framework to develop senior Olympic, and up and coming coachesFoster relationships and open communication with key stakeholders to strengthen athlete and coach recruitment and development pipelinesSupport the integration of sports science, technology, and performance analysis into coaching practicesFoster an elite training environment that ensures athletes are supportedUphold the Winning Well culture, ensuring coaching practices and program management reflect excellence, respect, and integrityWhere Your Training Pays Off: The skills you need to bringExtensive experience (10+ years) in high-performance environmentsRelevant experience and/or qualifications in International or Advanced High-Performance Certifications, coach mentoring, sport science or equivalentAn ability to operationalise and deliver strategic initiativesRecognition and standing as an authority in diving internationally and the ability to exercise influence on the overall development of the sport in AustraliaDemonstrated ability to lead a high-performance environment and culture across five performance pathway hubsProven track record in successfully identifying, developing and coaching elite diving athletes to podium performancesSignificant experience in the selection and development of coachesExceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a people-first focus to inspire, motivate, and empower athletes to win wellAble to travel nationally and internationallyWorking with Children Clearance & Police ChecksWhy Join the team?With the LA games just around the corner and home games in Brisbane in 2032 this is undoubtedly the most exciting time to be part of Diving Australia!
