If you thrive in a high-energy, driven environment and love the end-to-end crafting of great experiences, wed love to hear from you!About our Venues:Our Yeerongpilly Bar & Kitchen, a 300-seat venue at the heart of the brewery, combines freshly brewed beer with a menu of smoked meats, pizzas, and modern Australian dishes, offering indoor and outdoor dining and function options, a kids'' area, and a dedicated kitchen.Our newest venue, Slipstream Social House in Birtinya brings the Slipstream experience to the Sunshine Coast, featuring outdoor dining, tasting paddles, cozy booths, and a seasonal menu of share plates, grilled specialties, and fresh seafood in a stunning bar and restaurant setting with a large, flexible entertainment space for a wide variety of functions and events up to 150 people.About You3+ years of functions, bookings and events experience, ideally in a restaurant or large venue environmentFamiliar with booking and function software such as Now Book It, Tripleseat & Microsoft Office SuitesA natural communicator with experience coordinating hospitality teams and delivering exceptional customer service.Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Warm, friendly, and professional. Genuinely motivated to provide welcoming and hospitable experiences.A creative problem-solver who turns challenges into opportunities.Experienced in driving repeat business by optimizing booking systems and building strong client relationships.A go-getter who loves hosting site visits, fostering new relationships and crafting function packages that meet the client''s needs.What You''ll DoSpread the word building external relationships and successfully selling the venue spaces to potential clientsAssist with marketing initiatives that increase function and booking enquiriesWork proactively with the client to quickly turn inquiries into bookings and maximise repeat business.Help management teams to develop function processes that ensure detailed communication and seamless of-the-day running of functions.Collaborate with venue teams to flawlessly execute functions, from run sheets to resource planning.Perfect booking platforms to boost efficiency, profitability and improve online customer experience.Act as the main point of contact for guests during larger events, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.Gather post-event feedback to continuously elevate our offerings and exceed expectations.Help design and launch exciting event packages that captivate our target audience.Uphold venue standards while infusing every function with energy and professionalism.A bit more about the role:This is a Part-Time position (20-30 hours per week) based on the Sunshine Coast at our Social House Birtinya venue. It will be an on-site role with flexible working hours.The salary range is up to $75,000 (pro-rata, dependent on experience), excluding superannuation.
