This will involve, but is not limited to:Conducting a range of Psychological assessments of a clients presenting issues and support needs, and identifying appropriate supports, interventions and service models;Preparing, writing and delivering Psychological and other specific assessment reports;Providing client-centred therapy and direct treatments;Providing behaviour support for children and adults with complex disability and psycho-social support needs, complex mental health issues, and trauma-based presentations;Working with a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.Our office is based in Ringwood. The position will require regular travel around the Melbourne metro area and occasional regional travel. Opportunities for interstate / remote area projects are available to our team of practitioners at times. There is also an option to work from home for administration / report writing.Desired Skills and ExperienceCRITERIA:Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;Practitioner registration with the NDIS Commission;Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and / or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;Experience in providing clinical and / or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability, out-of-home care and / or other relevant sectors;Experience in the provision of practice or clinical supervision to other practitioners;Experience working with individuals who have had contact with the juvenile justice or criminal justice system is desirable but not essential.Due to the nature of our business, it is required that our staff:have a current Drivers Licence;have a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks;are willing to adhere to the Government requirements regarding vaccinations for workers in certain sectors.WHAT OUR STAFF TELL US THEY VALUE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT SAL CONSULTINGPositive outcomes and making a difference in peoples livesFlexible and supportive environment fostering employees'' interestsOpportunities for growth and developmentRegular high quality supervisionCommitment to quality and passion to make a differenceStrong leadership and good reputationCare and support for employeesDiversity in caseloads and the types of work we doCommitment to professional development and ongoing learningABOUT US:SAL Consulting Group is an organisation with a focus on working with complex individuals, systems and organisations across Australia.
