Every Patient Matters.Job DescriptionIn these Part-Time Environmental Services Assistant roles, located in Epworth Hawthorn, you will be responsible for cleaning in patient rooms and general areas. You will be part of the Environmental Services team and report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager.You will make an impact by:Maintaining nominated areas in a clean state in accordance with specified work schedules and cleaning systemsSafely removing waste and linen from allocated areasPatient room cleaning including discharge cleaning and infectious room cleans as requiredCleaning and maintaining common areasCleaning of general equipment (non-clinical)Undertaking non-cleaning tasks as directedTo be successful in this roleYou will have:The ability to work any shift as required, including on weekdays, weekends and public holidaysSound knowledge of infection controlA strong commitment to working effectively as part of a teamAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent serviceThe ability to work unsupervised and take directionGreat time management and the ability to prioritise tasksWe will review applications as we receive them.Additional InformationAt Epworth, its a community.
