Senior Communications and Marketing AdvisorElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our dynamic Engagement Team at our Sydney head office on a 12-month fixed contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on creative professional to manage a variety of exciting communications and marketing initiatives within a corporate construction environment. Some travel to project sites in regional NSW is required.Key Responsibilities:Internal communicationsTo produce and distribute internal updates and stories across the project.Manage internal communication channels such as the intranet.To lead internal communication initiatives that improve engagement across the workforce as required.EventsOrganise and coordinate internal events at a high level where required including staff townhalls, site tours, and camp updates.Source external speakers, catering, and logistics where required.MarketingWork with graphic designers to produce marketing materials that support the project.Participate in content generation for the project website and social media channel.Skills and Experience:Minimum of 8 years'' experience in marketing, events, and communications.Experience within the construction industry or a similar field.Relevant qualification or degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Events Management.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational and project management abilities.Ability to work autonomously and manage own work.Were building a diverse workforce.Elecnor Australia is committed to being an employer of choice.
