Bridges Homeward (formally CFCS) is looking to hire a part-time Family Support Specialist / Case Manager. Are you ready to take the next step in your human services career? If so, please read on about this rewarding job!We are seeking a part-time, fee-for-service Family Support Specialist.Hours include: Mandatory Tuesday Morning, and availability during regular business hours.HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE:Utilizing intervention to strengthen protective factors, the family support specialist performs home visits to mediate and support families in resolving conflicts. You monitor the safety of children in the home and during supervised family visitation. To enhance their capacity to care for their children, you support parents in increasing their parenting skills, advocacy skills, and support networks. You also provide case management, including information about and referrals to additional resources or after-care services. With attention to detail, you keep up-to-date and accurate records. Because of your dedication, we are able to continue this exceptional program that benefits families in our community by developing and nurturing safe, permanent relationships!QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST / CASE MANAGERBachelor''s degree in human services, social work, psychology, education, or a related fieldOne year of experience providing case management or counseling services to children, adolescents, and familiesValid driver''s license and properly insured vehicleWillingness to transport clientsBilingual candidates are needed for this position. There is an exceptional need for Haitian Creole speaking professionals at this time. Experience in child welfare services and working with pregnant or parenting teens or young adults is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.Bridges Homeward is passionate about our mission and clients, and welcome staff with lived experience.
