Join Expeditors and have a chance to grow, thrive, and fulfill your potential.Job DescriptionAssist with transport operations, booking deliveries, billings, and Accounting.Accurately update systems databases with appropriate information.Ensure documents are obtained within specified timeframes in line with approved Key Performance Indicators.Liaise professionally and cordially with customers both internal and external.Respond to all queries in a timely manner as defined by standard operational procedure.Complete designated training within specified timeframes.Assist in the preparation of customs clearance declarations for submission to customs in compliance with national regulatory provisions and adherence to the company''s policies and procedures.Perform tasks as requested, including, but not limited to, assisting in general Brokerage operations.Be responsible for all aspects of the job to the Brokerage Manager.QualificationsKnowledge of Government Regulations.Road Transport Operational knowledge (FCL Operational knowledge a plus).Standard Operational Procedures for Customs Import Operations.Good geographical knowledge.Accounting knowledge.International freight shipping terms.Possess elements of Expeditors Attributes and Culture.General Mathematical knowledge, including but not limited to, dealing with Exchange Rates, Foreign Currency, and General Ledger.Complete understanding of the movement of Goods.Additional InformationWork Life Balance: At Expeditors, we believe that togetherness is a strength, but that work supports life.
