Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is looking for x1 Warehouse Store Person based at our Defence site in Holsworthy NSW. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will get the opportunity to receive on-the-job training in Military equipment and software systems!This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7.30am 4pm. Please note you must be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance.What we offer you:An easy-going, supportive and collaborative team.Access to Ventia''s staff discount scheme travel, private health insurance, etc.Full financial support to obtain qualifications as you grow in the role.A positive culture that values and embraces diversity and inclusion.Regular company supplied BBQs to celebrate our successes.What you will be doing:Operating computer system to obtain details of stock quantity and location.Receipt and delivery of goods.Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves.Operating machinery such as forklift, placing and removing items.Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site.Could you be our next Store Person?Must have proven experience in a store and warehousing environment.Have a hands-on proactive attitude.Have experience with computers and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.Hold a Forklift ticket (Highly regarded).Be physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.Hold a valid drivers license (Essential).Able to successfully pass a police check and in-clinic medical assessment.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
