About the RoleSeeking a Chemist to join a Stability Laboratory team in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company based in the Western Suburbs. The role is a 9-month casual contract with full time hours, Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a global organisation.This facility is difficult to access via public transport, so a car and license will be required.Key Duties:Simple and complex routine laboratory testing of pharmaceutical productsWrite simple laboratory investigations and reportsEnsure the application of sound scientific principles in laboratory work documenting and performing analytical testingKey Requirements:Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) or equivalent.Demonstrable laboratory technical skills in wet chemistry and analytical techniques including HPLC, GCMS and titrations.Knowledge of operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Experience with the preparation, review and update of SOPs.Understanding of GMP and GLP is highly desired.Good IT skills Excel, Word, SAP, LIMS.High attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills.Valid Australian work rights.NOTE: Successful applicants must complete medical tests, including drug screening and police checks.Apply!If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now!
