Our training is delivered to students and apprentices on-site, online, in the workplace, or on-campus to give people the skills they need to enrich their communities, support their industries, and strengthen their local economies.By working at TAFE Queensland, you can be part of a highly experienced workforce closely connected with their industries and dedicated to delivering best practices and innovative training.As the Planning and Reporting Coordinator you will be responsible for:Coordinate and develop a range of planning and reporting processes, templates and resources.Collect, collate and assess a range of information for the development of corporate reports including the TAFE Queensland Operational Plan Quarterly Report and Annual Report, which are submitted to the TAFE Queensland Executive, Board and Minister.Provide high level administrative support to the team including document collation and analysis.Maintain effective and efficient liaison with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to team activities.This position reports to the Manager, Planning and Reporting.This is a temporary, part-time backfill opportunity, to 30 June 2025 unless otherwise determined.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake a range of coordination, development and maintenance activities in the areas of planning and reporting.Contribute to the development of annual strategic and operational planning and reporting processes and resources associated with business unit and regional planning and reporting.Collect, collate, develop and assess information to support the development of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.Assist with developing, building and analysing a broad range of performance reports using reporting tools and resources (including the TQ BI, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other relevant programs).Provide authoritative advice on the usage of corporate reporting systems and liaise with a range of staff to maintain effective communications.Provide support services to the team including arranging/coordinating research, preparing and/or coordinating agenda papers, reports, briefing papers and minutes and following up of action items.Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices by encouraging an environment where high quality work is achieved and is supported by the development and adherence to quality systems.Undertake other duties as requested by the Manager, Planning and Reporting as required.Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the values of Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.How you will be assessedThe ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:Demonstrated ability in undertaking duties of a planning and reporting nature including working within the framework to provide a quality service to a variety of stakeholders across all levels.Possess well developed interpersonal and written skills, including a demonstrated ability to prepare complex documents such as briefing papers, reports and correspondence.High-level of competency in a range of Microsoft 365 applications.Demonstrated ability to prioritise, schedule and perform work to achieve successful outcomes within strict deadlines and confidential environments.Highly Desirable RequirementsHigh level proficiency in the range of Microsoft 365; andDemonstrated knowledge or use of Technology Ones Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, TAFE Queenslands official recordkeeping system, is desirable.How to applyIf youre interested in this role, click the Apply button to submit your application via the TAFE Queensland Recruitment Portal.
